The Deep Sea II

The Deep Sea II is a large, all-blue oil painting of mermaids drifting through a dense underwater dreamscape. Angu Walters fills the canvas with stylized female figures, long flowing hair, and schools of fish that emerge from and dissolve into interlocking geometric patterns.

The Deep Sea II

Not forgotten

The Deep Sea II is a very blue oil painting of Mermaids.
This marvelous painting has echoes of traditional African forms woven into a luminous, otherworldly sea. The monochromatic blue palette turns the scene into something both intimate and vast, characteristic of the artist’s surreal work drawn from imagination and life in Cameroon.
